Bible Reading Today: Proverbs 1:7
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
In our everyday lives we are often faced with uncertainties and fear of the future. We should not fear those things to come, what we should fear is God. If we trust Him, we will let Him be our guide and never be afraid of the future. He holds our hands. If we have the knowledge of God, we will fear Him since we know that He holds our lives. He know how long we shall live on this earth. When we sin against Him, for sure He will chastise us but we should not despise the wisdom and instructions coming from Him, from His Word.
Prayer:
Lord God, thank you for this morning, for the wisdom of your word. We are sorry for the sins that we have done, may you cleanse our hearts and minds. Forgive us Lord. Lord, we may always serve you and fear you. May you enlighten us always from your Word that we may not sin against you. I pray Lord for my family and I hope Lord that my relationship with my mother will be restored. May you always take care of her health. May you bless me also that I may bless others. I pray Lord that my wife and my daughter have a good health and my in-laws. We praise you my Lord. Guide me this day.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ.
